Welcome to Putnam Texas
Putnam is nestled among the foothills of Callahan County, with an altitude of 1800 feet up in pure ratified air where the germs of malaria and tuberculosis do not survive.
This is an ideal place to take a summer outing. One can climb her mountains, or roam through her verdant valleys and pluck wild daises, or sit upon the banks of her flowing stream and angle for trout or bass to their heart’s content.
